This game truly does put your DS stylus to work. There is no use of any buttons all the action is touch action.
In this game you use the stylus to draw a line kirby can ride on top of, push below, stop, and change direction. Also you can poke enemies to make them vulnerable. Or you can just poke kirby to speed him up or use his powers.
This game takes a little different approach to the old kirby games in that it feels a little more like a puzzle game. Not bad though it definitely pulls off better than the kirby pinball games they have released.
One thing that made this game have more replay value was its medal system. The medals you collected in the game or beat in Trail Levels like Time Trial and Line Trail can be used to buy new features and more Trail levels. This making its replay value very high. Once I started playing it I could not seem to stop.
All in all this game is one of the better Kirby games I have played and am looking forward to more releases like this one on the DS.
